Khadim Sall, a student in Master 2 in Electronic Banking and Digital Certification and Assane Diop, a student in Bachelor 3 MIAGE at the Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique et des Technologies (ESITEC), a member of the Supdeco Group, won the Kemoil Website Challenge Prize. The award ceremony of the said prize took place this Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the amphitheater of the Point E Campus of the Supdeco Dakar Group, in the presence of Mr. Daniel NDIAYE, General Manager of Kemoil and Dr. Falou NDOYE, Director of the School of Engineering and Technology.
Two student teams were finalists in this competition. They both presented a highly appreciable work. But, according to the president of the jury, Dr. Aly Ngoné Ngom, teacher-researcher at Supdeco, to decide between the two teams, the jury based itself on the respect of the specifications and the "very convincing" character of the winning team in the presentation of its work.
The winning team received a cheque for 500 euros from Mr Daniel NDIAYE, CEO of Kemoil S.A. In addition to the cheque, the team members will be recruited for an internship to deploy and maintain the site, but also to work on other Kemoil projects.
In their reactions, the two winners did not fail to thank the Supdeco Dakar Group and their trainers for the quality of the training they received. With this prize in their pockets, Khadim Sall and Assane Diop do not intend to stop there. They say they are highly motivated and ready to take on other conquests and challenges.
The School of Engineering and Technology of Supdeco intends to continue on this path by working with other companies on their problems through challenges, projects, company missions, etc. This is to reinforce the professionalization of the teaching within the school.
