On a working visit to Supdeco, the Director of the Institut Mines Telecom France, Mr. Denis Guibard, attended the opening ceremony of the second cohort of the Bachelor’s degree in Innovation Management and Digital Technologies (IMDT) on Tuesday 28 September 2021. A program co-constructed within the framework of the Franco-Senegalese campus and recognized for its relevance and topicality in the face of the needs of innovative companies. In front of the visibly enthusiastic students, Mr. Guibard was keen to reassure the students enrolled in this program on the many opportunities and outlets that are available to them after the training.
"By choosing this program, you have no fear for employment. You have made the right choice at the right time. In a few years, you will reap the benefits of this choice", declared Mr. Denis Guibard, before inviting the students to be actors of their own training.
According to the Director of the Institut Mines Télécom in France, this program is an innovative hybrid project of the Franco-Senegalese Campus. Its originality and attractiveness lie in the articulation between management and digital technologies in a world of perpetual change.
Insisting on the relevance of this bachelor’s degree, Mr. Denis Guibard affirms that this program takes into account the major issues of the contemporary world because, he says, digital technology transforms everything : companies, social relations, etc.
IMDT, Supdeco’s partner in this program, is the leading group of engineering and management schools in France. This program is taught by a faculty of renowned international professors and engineers from both schools. In an educational environment supported by a state-of-the-art technical platform.
Students in this program will have a double degree at the end of their training, which will allow them to enter a highly-recruited sector of activity. After this Bachelor’s degree, there are also many opportunities for graduates to continue their studies in order to obtain the title of engineer and other additional qualifications.In addition, the French Development Agency (AFD), the World Bank and several French companies are partners of IMDT in this program.
