I answer on behalf of Souleymane BARRY, I am IT Manager at the Directorate of Maritime Fisheries, an institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy.
The SupdeCo Group through its campus SupdeCo Technologies gave me the opportunity to undergo in two (2) years of training the Master 2 in Management of Information Systems (MSI) for the promotion of 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.
Describe your current profession or activity in a few words
My job as an urban planner and architect of information systems aims to help the Administration of my country to establish and promote SMART and adapted technological solutions capable of propelling our administration while taking into account the current paradigms, particularly those related to the digital transformation, diversity and the current evolution of technologies.
What has SUPDECO brought to you in your personal and professional life ?
My time at SUPDECO has enabled me to consolidate my experience and to develop over time an expertise that I have been able to use for the benefit of my country and even beyond our borders, through regional projects in which I have been involved.
In view of the dizzying evolution of information technologies, it is a categorical imperative to question oneself, to be in a perpetual quest for knowledge in order to better undertake for the benefit and in the service of innovation. It is with this in mind that the SupdeCo Group’s Master 2 "Management of Information Systems" has offered us this opportunity.
Your advice to Supdeco students ?
To be in a perpetual quest for knowledge, for the renewal of knowledge to better respond to the requirements of the digital transformation that is currently taking place within our companies.
